City to observe Thanksgiving

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – All City of Colorado Springs administrative and elected administrative offices and agencies will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of Thanksgiving including:

  • Administrative offices for Mountain Metropolitan Transit
  • City Clerk
  • City Hall
  • Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum (closed Saturday, Nov. 28 as well)
  • Deerfield Hills Community Center
  • Helen Hunt Falls Visitors Center
  • Hillside Community Center
  • Meadows Park Community Center
  • Municipal Court
  • Otis Park Community Center
  • Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Administrative Building
  • Patty Jewett Golf Course (closed Thursday, Nov. 26 only)
  • Pikes Peak- America’s Mountain- closed Thanksgiving Day only
  • Rockledge Ranch Historic Site
  • Sales Tax Office
  • Sports and Therapeutic Recreation Program Office in Memorial Park
  • Starsmore Visitor and Nature Center
  • Valley Hi Golf Course (closed Thursday, Nov. 26 only)
  • Valley Hi Grill and Pub (closed Thursday, Nov. 26 only)


  • Garden of the Gods Park
  • Patty Jewett and Valley Hi Golf Courses: open all day Friday, Nov. 27
    • Online reservations and payment required
    • Patty Jewett Bar and Grill
    • Open Thanksgiving Day, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; reservations and pickup only
    • Open 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27
  • Sertich Ice Center: Open Friday, Nov. 27
  • Skate in the Park at Acacia Park
    • Friday, Nov. 27: 10 a.m.-noon, 1-3 p.m., 4-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
    • Online reservations required. Visit to reserve spot.
  • Valley Hi Grill and Pub
    • Open 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27

Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28
There will be one-day shopping and dining specials at stores and restaurants throughout downtown.
