The City of Colorado Springs City Council is seeking volunteers to serve on the following commission:
- City Planning Commission: A nine-member body appointed by City Council to review various land use development applications and legislative initiatives. Some land use applications are decided by the City Planning Commission, while others proceed to City Council for final approval. The planning Commission meets informally on the second Thursday of each month and formally on the third Thursday of each month in the City Hall Council Chambers. Occasionally, the Commission will meet at other times, as needed. Meetings begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue until all items are heard.
