Important upcoming meetings

Review North Nevada Avenue
Great opportunities exist in the North Nevada Avenue Corridor. In order to take advantage of them, the City of Colorado Springs needs your help in deciding how to build on and enhance the strengths in and around the area. Community Workshop participants will guide plan decisions. All North Nevada Avenue Plan Community Workshops will be held at Mortgage Solutions Financial Expo Center, 3650 North Nevada Avenue.

Community Workshop #1 - Wednesday, August 3 at 5:30 p.m.
Share your concerns, hopes, and vision for the North Nevada Avenue Corridor.

Community Workshop #2 - Tuesday, September 13 at 6 p.m.
Review and confirm the vision and get information about the Corridor. 

Community Workshop #3 - Thursday, October 27 at 6 p.m.
Review and respond to potential renewal plan concepts for the Corridor. 

Community Workshop #4 - Thursday, December 8 at 6 p.m.
Tell us what you think about the North Nevada Avenue Plan alternatives.

Community Open House - Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 6 p.m.
Take a look at the draft North Nevada Avenue Plan and make final suggestions.

The Marijuana Working Group is a new group picking up where the Marijuana Task Force left off in May of 2016. The information below is legacy information from the Marijuana Task Force.

The task force was  created by Ordinance 15-79 in order to: Review, study, develop, evaluate, and review laws and regulations pertaining to marijuana businesses, including but not limited to location and licensing criteria, fees, advertising, and other time, place, manner, and number regulations.  The task force completed its work in May 2016, when City Council adopted a number of ordinances relating to marijuana regulation.
