2017 CDBG Grant Funding for Public Services Workshop

Colorado Springs, CO- The City of Colorado Springs Community Development Division
announces that the 2017 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Services
application process opens on October 17, 2016. The primary purpose of CDBG Public
Service funds is to serve low- and moderate-income residents who reside within the city
limits of Colorado Springs.

This year, the Community Development Division is seeking to fund programs that
specifically meet the goals of the Pikes Peak Continuum of Care Strategic Plan for
preventing and ending homelessness and that expand services in targeted low- to
moderate-income areas.

Complete, hard copy applications are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on November 18,
2016 at the Community Development Division office at 30 S. Nevada Avenue, Suite
604, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Staff will hold public workshops to discuss the 2017
Community Development Block Grant Public Services at the time and location above.

These workshops will cover important information on the types of eligible projects along
with rules and regulations governing the program.

Attendance at one of these sessions is required for all applicants.

Attendance by at least one representative from your organization will ensure project eligibility and provide technical assistance about the application and the CDBG program before an agency invests the time and resources necessary to complete an application.
