The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum has numerous exhibits, educational programs and opportunities to immerse yourself in the history of our city. To celebrate the Sesquicentennial, the museum will unveil three significant exhibits over the next two years that will result in upgrades to over 25% of its gallery space. The first of these exhibits, Evidence: Finding the Facts about General William Jackson Palmer, opens to the public on September 14, 2019, and it will feature objects uncovered during a recent archaeologic excavation in Garden of the Gods Park.

In honor of Colorado Springs’ upcoming sesquicentennial anniversary, the CSPM is excited to unveil its newest exhibit, COS@150, on Saturday January 30, 2021. This robust exploration of our community’s history and culture will feature 150 objects, illuminating 150 stories, commemorating 150 years.
Evidence: Finding the Facts about General William Jackson Palmer
By examining newly unearthed archeological evidence along with extensive archival materials, visitors will test assumptions, challenge myths and gain new insights into Palmer and his family.
