Pikes Peak is one of Colorado’s majestic 14’ers and is one of the few places so grand in scale that are also accessible to be experienced first-hand by people of all ages and abilities.
The Pikes Peak Highway entrance is conveniently located just 15 minutes west of Colorado Springs on Highway 24 (see map). Plan for your roundtrip journey to the summit to take 2-3 hours.

Summit Visitor Center
The new state-of-the-art Pikes Peak Summit Visitor Center (altitude: 14,115 feet) opened in June 2021, providing people of all ages and abilities an exciting new experience on the summit of Pikes Peak.
