Join us for a relaxed experience with the Pikes Peak Nature Journaling Club on Sunday, July 7th. Enhance your journaling or artistic skills while taking in the quiet beauty of Pikes Peak with Ranger Angela! This is low-pressure, go at your own pace kind of club.
Remember to bring your journaling materials, plenty of water, snacks or lunch, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat for your comfort. Sturdy hiking shoes are recommended.
The club will meet at 10AM at Crowe Gulch, located just 3 miles up the Pikes Peak Highway. We kindly request that you arrive at the Pikes Peak Gateway no later than 9:45AM to allow ample time for entrance and travel up the highway.
A reservation is not required. Upon entering the Pikes Peak Highway, inform the Ranger at the gate that you're heading to Crowe Gulch for nature journaling to receive a reduced toll of $5 per adult; children under 16 enter for free.
In case of inclement weather, please call (719) 385-7325 for event updates, as the event may be subject to cancellation. All ages are welcome, though the club is best suited for ages 7 and above, and please note that the hike is not stroller-friendly.
