Economic Impact 2017: Doug Martin

Doug Martin is the Chief Operating Officer of the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation and has been a major contributor in attracting, producing, managing and overseeing prime sports events that have made the city a world famous sporting host. Each of these events has been bringing thousands of spectators and athletes to the Pikes Peak Region over the last decade.  Each of these events has also created a huge economic impact for the city.

These preeminent events are:

  • the legendary Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

These events have placed Colorado Springs, Olympic City USA on the world map as an international sports destination bringing in hundreds of thousands of dollars to our city creating a strong economic impact
