Mountain Metro Bus Service Adjustments

Bus Capacity: All Mountain Metro buses are at full capacity.

Mask Policy: Masks are no longer required to ride Mountain Metro Transit buses or to be in MMT facilities. Masks, however, are still recommended. 

With the recent addition of new bus operators, we are able to begin restoring service to discontinued routes and improving frequencies to pre-COVID levels! See below for details.

Weekday Service Adjustments:

  • Routes 1, 5, 25, and 27 frequencies are still reduced from 15 to 30 to minutes.
  • Route 18 will begin operating again on Monday, March 21.

Saturday Service Adjustments:

  • Route 1 frequency is still reduced from 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Route 3 frequency will be increased from 60 to 30 minutes, beginning Saturday, March 19
  • Route 7 frequency is still reduced from 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Route 27 frequency is still reduced from 30 to 60 minutes.

Sunday Service Adjustments:

  • Route 1 frequency is still reduced from 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Routes 5/25 frequencies will be increased from 60 to 30 minutes, beginning Sunday, March 20.
  • Route 27 frequency is still reduced from 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Route 22 Sunday service began on March 6th. This service was scheduled to begin with the Fall 2021 service change but was deferred due to the driver shortage.
  • Route 23 Sunday service began on March 13th. This service was scheduled to begin with the Fall 2021 service change but was deferred due to the driver shortage.
