COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Beginning Monday April 29, Mountain Metro will add express bus service to UCHealth Memorial Hospital North and Children’s Hospital Colorado. Children’s Colorado will not be fully open until mid-summer 2019. The new Route 38 will operate every 45 minutes, weekdays from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. along Union Boulevard.

Due to budget limitations the City of Manitou Springs requested a reduction in operating hours for Route 36, the Manitou Avenue shuttle. Beginning Sunday, April 28, the new operating hours for Route 36 will be 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

Mountain Metropolitan Transit provides local fixed-route bus service and Metro Mobility ADA paratransit service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region. All buses are wheelchair-lift equipped. Mountain Metropolitan Transit also provides other services such as Metro Rides’ ridesharing, vanpool, and bicycling programs. For added convenience, there are bike racks on all buses for riders who want to utilize the bike-n-bus program.
