Mountain Metropolitan Transit System-Wide Shut Down

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) will implement a system-wide shut down today, April 10, due to inclement weather.

  • Beginning at 6:15 p.m. all buses will go to the end of their route and then return to the transit facility.
  • Last pull-out from the downtown bus terminal will be 6:15 p.m.
  • Route 40 that services PPCC Rampart Campus will shut down and return to the transit facility at 2:00 p.m.
  • Routes 23 (Galley Rd./Tutt Blvd.), 25 (N. Academy Blvd./Voyager Pkwy) and 39 (Corporate Dr./Voyager Pkwy) may shut down earlier depending on weather conditions.

Mountain Metropolitan Transit provides local fixed-route bus service and Metro Mobility ADA paratransit service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region. All buses are wheelchair-lift equipped. Mountain Metropolitan Transit also provides other services such as Metro Rides’ ridesharing, vanpool, and bicycling programs. For added convenience, there are bike racks on all buses for riders who want to utilize the bike-n-bus program.
