COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The final public meeting for the North Nevada Transit Connectivity Study will be held virtually on December 16, 5:30p.m. – 7:00p.m. Visit https://coloradosprings.gov/project/north-nevada-transit-connectivity-study to register for the meeting. The project team will provide a summary of work completed to date, share the locally-preferred alignment and mode alternatives, present potential service plans as well as capital and operating costs, and finally, discuss next steps.
Mountain Metropolitan Transit provides local fixed-route bus service and Metro Mobility ADA paratransit service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region. All buses use clean diesel technology and are wheelchair-lift equipped. Mountain Metropolitan Transit also provides other services such as Metro Rides’ ridesharing, vanpool, and bicycling programs. For added convenience, there are bike racks on all buses for riders who want to utilize the bike-n-bus program.
