The City of Colorado Springs released the results from its first Community Satisfaction Survey. The 2024 survey gathered feedback from a representative sample of residents from across Colorado Springs to measure satisfaction with City services and identify key areas for strategic and budgetary investment. The City plans to continue the survey yearly to help gather regular feedback to track improvements.

"This survey is more than a report, it is a reflection of the collective voices of our community. I am encouraged by the areas we are doing well and equally committed to addressing the concerns that were raised,” said Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade. “Data is the foundation for effective decision-making. When we rely on transparent and actionable information, we can ensure that we are delivering the services that matter most to our residents, track our progress, and adjust as needed.”

The services listed as most important to residents included:

  • Maintenance of major city streets
  • Efforts to prevent crime
  • Maintenance of City parks
  • Approach to managing homelessness.

Residents said they were most satisfied with:

  • Snow removal on City streets
  • Number of City parks
  • City’s support for local military
  • Local fire protection

Residents can access an interactive dashboard that provides a detailed analysis of the results. The 2024 Community Satisfaction Survey is available online at ColoradoSprings.gov/CommunitySatisfactionSurvey.
