COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Due to continued winter weather conditions, all City of Colorado Springs non-essential personnel are on a delayed start for the morning of Thursday, March 14. Non-essential personnel must report to work by noon.

All El Paso County offices, including combined courts, and all affiliated offices will be closed Thursday, March 14.

All City and County emergency responders and essential personnel are required to report to work on time.

Closures and delays help emergency responders and road crews conduct rescue operations and road clearing with minimal interruptions.  This is especially important given the number of abandoned vehicles on city and county roadways.

City administrative offices and facilities including Garden of the Gods Park and Palmer Park will open at noon.

Anyone scheduled to appear at the City’s Municipal Court Wednesday or Thursday morning can appear at the court by Friday to reschedule.

Mountain Metro Transit service will begin at 10 a.m.

We will continue to update the media and post current information on www.ElPasoCo.com  and www.ColoradoSprings.gov.
