Downtown Colorado Springs, in collaboration with City Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services, is pleased to announce the return of ice skating at Acacia Park for the holiday season, opening Tuesday, November 14. 

Admission:

  • $10/person all ages (skate rental included)
  • Ages 4 & Under FREE with paying adult
  • A $1 discount is given to anyone with a valid Military ID.

Two special grand opening events will take place November 17 and 18:

Grand Opening Event and Free Public Skate

Friday, November 17, 4 - 10 p.m.

4 p.m. - Remarks by city leaders and skating demonstration by 2010 Olympian and U.S. Figure Skating Champion Mirai Nagasu 

5 - 10 p.m. - Free public skating

Holiday Fun: Santa and Tree Lighting Ceremony
Saturday, November 18, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Short holiday movies and crafts for kids plus Santa and giant tree lighting at 5:30 p.m.

The only outdoor rink in the area, the rink will be open seven days a week from November 14, 2017 to January 15, 2018. Several special themed activities will offer skaters unique opportunities to share the ice with local athletes and Olympians including members of the CC Tigers and U.S. Air Force Falcons hockey teams, and the U.S. Figure Skating Team. Discount admission is available on Broncos Pride days, sponsored by Insurance Technologies, and Super Hero Skate day, sponsored by UCHealth.
