Pikes Peak - America's Mountain

Pikes Peak - America's Mountain

The new Pikes Peak Summit Visitor Center is now open! Due to winter weather delays in the last week of September, crews are still working to finish paving. The summit will be completely closed to highway guests Oct. 5-7.  Weather permitting, visitors can anticipate making it as far as mile 16 of the 19-mile highway on these days. This area is known as Devils Playground.  Call 719-385-7325 for current highway conditions. As always, all highway access is weather permitting. Sorry, no refunds.

At this time, masks are strongly encouraged in all indoor facilities on the mountain, regardless of vaccination status.
