Upon arrival, officers found a female victim inside a residence with an apparent gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital for serious injuries. The suspected shooter fled the scene before officers’ arrival. During the investigation, officers arrested an individual from inside the victim’s residence on an outstanding felony warrant unrelated to this incident. Neither that individual, nor anyone inside of the home at the time of the shooting, is believed to be the suspect in the shooting. This is still an ongoing investigation.
