Stay At Home Order: Dispatch Calls

Share this page:

The Colorado Springs Police Department knows that there are a lot of questions regarding the state’s new “Stay at Home” order. We want to assure you that Colorado Springs Police (CSPD) officers are still here for our community during these difficult times. In order for us to best serve you, we need your help.

The goal of local officials is to focus on education and voluntary compliance. While citations, fines, or jail are possible for violating the order, local public health staff and law enforcement would rather rely on education and outreach to correct violations. We encourage citizens to voluntarily comply with the Stay at Home Order for their safety, the safety of their families, friends and neighbors.

Additionally, we hope the information below will help direct people to the correct points of contact so their questions and concerns can be addressed as quickly as possible.

  • Do not call 9-1-1 to report potential violations of the order, residents who suspect that someone is violating the order should first contact El Paso County Public Health at 719-578-3167. Residents may also file a report with the Attorney General’s Office at if they are unable to report to local law enforcement or public health.
  • Information on the governor’s order can be found here:  (please note that there are many exceptions to the order that allow people to be outside and conduct necessary business)

We thank everyone for their dedication to our community, and we ask that moving forward we continue to come together, be respectful of one another, and be responsible community members.
