1. On 05/19/2022, Title II ADA / Section 504 Coordinator(s) from the Office of Accessibility performed a Title II - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation. This evaluation was performed in accordance with 1991/2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
2. Priorities for removing barriers are assigned in accordance with the ADA Checklist for Existing Facilities, promulgated by the ADA National Network. The checklist follows the four priorities listed in the Department of Justice ADA Title III regulations. These priorities are equally applicable to state and local government facilities:
Priority 1 - Accessible approach and entrance
Priority 2 - Access to goods and services
Priority 3 - Access to public toilet rooms
Priority 4 - Access to other items such as water fountains and public telephones
3. Corrective actions to findings were / will be submitted to the City maintenance work request system and will be managed in accordance with the City Transition Plan. Note: Recommended corrections may be modified where appropriate. Corrections are developed in consideration of the “Program Access” provisions of Title II, where applicable.

This triangular junction, located in the northeast corner of the park, has the following issues:
Turn A has a slope measuring 7.4% and a 1" gap between pads.
Turn B has a slope measuring 8.3%.
Turn C has a slope measuring 6%.
Route section 2 has 3 pads of concrete with a cross slope measuring between 2.5% and 3.8%, and 4 pads with a running slope measuring between 6% and 7.4%.
Route section 3 has 4 pads of concrete with a high cross slope measuring between 2.8% and 5.1%. One of those has a high running slope measuring 6.8%. There is also a 1/2" vertical displacement between 2 pads.
Recommendation:
Replace non-compliant turning spaces so that they have a less than 2% slope in all directions. Replace the connectors between these turning spaces so that they have cross slopes less than 2% and running slopes less than 5% if feasible.

Recommendation:
Provide a clear floor space of at least 30" by 48" with a slope of less than 2% in all directions. Alternatively, relocate the operable part to an already level pad of concrete within reach ranges.
