1. On 03/13/2017, Title II ADA / Section 504 Coordinator(s) from the Office of Accessibility performed a Title II - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation. This evaluation was performed in accordance with 1991/2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
2. Priorities for removing barriers are assigned in accordance with the ADA Checklist for Existing Facilities, promulgated by the ADA National Network. The checklist follows the four priorities listed in the Department of Justice ADA Title III regulations. These priorities are equally applicable to state and local government facilities:
Priority 1 - Accessible approach and entrance
Priority 2 - Access to goods and services
Priority 3 - Access to public toilet rooms
Priority 4 - Access to other items such as water fountains and public telephones
3. Corrective actions to findings were / will be submitted to the City maintenance work request system and will be managed in accordance with the City Transition Plan. Note: Recommended corrections may be modified where appropriate. Corrections are developed in consideration of the “Program Access” provisions of Title II, where applicable.

The area around the flag pole contains cross slopes in each triangle-shaped panel (except 1) ranging from 2.5%-6.6% cross slope. The entry point from the sidewalk to the parking is 3.5%, the triangle pad to the fire station is 3.5% and the triangle pad leading down the sidewalk is 3.9%.
Recommendation:
Fix the pads to a 2% cross slope or as close as feasible. Especially where the triangle pads intersect with the other routes it must be 2% in all directions.

There is a 1/2" vertical lift from the ramp face to the landing along with a 1" gap, the cross slope up the ramp face is up to 3% (though at ramp base it is 2%), there is 1/2" vertical lift from the ramp face to the gutter pan, the gutter pan entry has a 17% slope and there are no truncated domes.
Recommendation:

The stretch of accessible route that runs from the curb ramp crossing at the north end of the station up to the circular concrete near the front door, has 15 pads of concrete with high cross slope measuring between 2.4% and 5.3% and four pads with high running slope between 7.5% and 9.2%.

These forces do not apply to the force required to retract latch bolts or disengage other devices that hold the door or gate in a closed position. Door closers and gate closers shall be adjusted so that from an open position of 90 degrees, the time required to move the door to a position of 12 degrees from the latch is 5 seconds minimum.
Door and gate spring hinges shall be adjusted so that from the open position of 70 degrees, the door or gate shall move to the closed position in 1.5 seconds minimum.

The toilet paper is not installed within the compliant range in front of the toilet.
Toilet paper dispensers shall be 7 inches minimum and 9 inches maximum in front of the water closet measured to the centerline of the dispenser. The outlet of the dispenser shall be 15 inches minimum and 48 inches maximum above the finish floor and shall not be located behind grab bars. Dispensers shall not be of a type that controls delivery or that does not allow continuous paper flow. There shall be a clearance of 1 1/2 inches minimum below the grab bar.
