Crews are putting the final touches on Rockrimmon Blvd between Vindicator and Pro Rodeo Drive. Public Works is expected to complete the final concrete work and striping in the next few weeks.

The 2C paving season kicked off this week. An estimated 225 lane miles are scheduled to be paved in 2020, which will bring the five-year program total to 1,069 lane miles.

2C is a voter-approved sales tax that is used only on road improvements within the City of Colorado Springs. The final step in a 2C construction project is applying a new layer of asphalt. This typically occurs from May to October when weather conditions allow for paving.
