We Need You!
Come help us clean up Fountain Creek from Dorchester Park Colorado Springs to Rainbow Falls in Manitou Springs!
There are three cleanup sites. Please register to volunteer so we can make sure we have enough supplies for everyone! Nitrile work gloves and trash bags will be provided.
The cleanup is from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be a celebration afterward at Trails End Taproom (3103 W Colorado Ave, Colorado Springs) from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Registration locations are where volunteers will check-In, review safety guidelines, and pick up gloves and trash bags. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and wear work boots or closed toe shoes.
What is Adopt-A-Waterway?
Adopt-A-Waterway promotes volunteerism through local businesses and organizations to assist the City in maintaining healthy waterways through regular cleanups. Since 2016, the program has doubled the amount of participating groups that provide regular cleanups, which helps reduce the impact of trash and debris that affect water quality and impact the natural beauty of the city’s watersheds.
