This year's theme — “Build Together. Play Together”— celebrates the many ways park and recreation professionals make lasting impacts in communities across the country. Check out ways to get involved this month at the link above!

Good neighbors play together!
We are better together. That’s why the 1,000 Neighborhood Gatherings community campaign is back for 2025, as Colorado Springs continues to build a city of great neighbors and neighborhoods. This July, we’re challenging residents to host or attend a gathering at each of the 162 neighborhood parks in Colorado Springs.

It was a great morning of community activation on Saturday, May 31 for the first Keep it Clean COS Community Cleanup! Keep the momentum going and learn how you can host your own cleanup this summer.
