Historic Preservation Board
Acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in implementing the Historic Preservation program for the city. It initiates the Historic Preservation Overlay Zone and administers the review of building or demolition permits for properties that are zoned Historic Preservation, among other responsibilities.
Meeting Time – First Monday of every month at 4:30 p.m.

Civil Service Commission
Administers the rules governing classification, employment, promotion, discipline, and conduct of the City's civil service employees in the police and fire departments.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission reviews various development applications and proposals, some of which are later reviewed by City Council.

Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments – Community Advisory Committee
The Pikes Peak Area Council of Government – Community Advisory Committee advises and recommends appropriate courses of action to the PPACG Board of Directors and PPACG staff on regional issues directly related to the mission and programs of PPACG; and assist the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments and the PPACG staff in keeping the general public informed relative to regional plans and programs.
Meeting Time – Last Wednesday of each month at 3:00 p.m.

Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority – Citizen Advisory Committee
The Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority – Citizen Advisory Committee ensure that the capital, maintenance and public transportation projects and programs approved by voters are accomplished.
Meeting Time – First Wednesday of each month at 1:30p.m.
