CAPS: Volunteer or Intern
Community Advancing Public Safety (CAPS) program engages volunteers and interns (18 & up) in a public safety partnership with the City’s Police and Fire Departments and the Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management.

Citizen Advisory Committees
The Citizen Advisory Committees (CAC) represent their neighborhoods in serving as a conduit between the community and the local police division.

Crime Prevention & Safety Programs
The CSPD Crime Prevention and Neighborhood Watch programs focus on providing citizens and businesses with tips on how to prevent becoming a victim of a crime.
Youth Programs

Teen Academy
The Pikes Peak Regional Law Enforcement Teen Academy provides young adults with a unique opportunity to learn about the operations of regional law enforcement agencies in El Paso County.

Police Cadet Program
The Cadet Program develops young leaders to become active in our community. Cadets attend leadership conferences, volunteer at local non-profits, and learn about the role of law enforcement.

Youth Advisory Council
The Youth Advisory Council to Law Enforcement (YACLE) provides Colorado Springs' young people with an active role in addressing youth issues.

PAL Boxing
The Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL) Boxing program enhances the relationship between the CSPD and our community through athletics and mentoring.

PlayCOS
With the help of local partners, CSPD gives sports balls to kids and teens in our community.
