The Deerfield Hills Community Center continues its tradition of offering a positive and safe environment for children of all ages. The wide array of program opportunities and community services, along with a dynamic center staff, make this a well-utilized neighborhood resource. Deerfield Hills offers a variety of summer activities. Check out the Sprayground to stay cool during the summer months.

March 28, 2025-Deerfield Mobile Food Pantry

• 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
• Drive through food distribution open to everyone.
• Contact Deerfield Hills Community Center for appointment details.

April 2, 2025-Artsy Adults

• 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
• Open to all adults/seniors.  Various arts and craft activities all supplies provided.

April 4, 2025-Star Party

• 7:30-9:30 p.m.
• Free and open to everyone. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Join Space Foundation Discovery Center Educators and volunteer astronomers from the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society to observe the wonders of the universe through a variety of telescopes. Stop inside for a hot chocolate and the chance to make your own Glow in the Dark Slime with Science Matters!

April 5, 2025-Seed Swap Event

• 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• Free and open to everyone
• Hosted by Southeast Food Coalition. Swap seeds, share seed or get seeds! Start plants for our community garden or your own garden.

April 15, 2025-Community Playgroup

• 10-11 a.m.
• Open to children 0-5 with a caregiver.  Art, music, and sensory activities exploring nature with outdoor play.
• *Held indoors if weather conditions warrant. 

April 16, 2025-Artsy Adults

• 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
• Open to all adults/seniors.  Various arts and craft activities all supplies provided.

April 17, 2025-AARP Zumba Class

• 4:40-5:30 p.m.
• Open to all adults/seniors.
• Join AARP Colorado for this program designed for older adults, but open to all adults.  Registration required, follow link to register:

April 25, 2025-Mobile Food Pantry

• 10:00-11:00 a.m.
• Empowering children through hands on exposure to women in different professions. Meet Officer Vannessa with the CS Police Department. 

April 30, 2025-Adults on the Go!

• Times TBD
• Free and open to all adults
• Join us as we travel to Meadows Park Community Center for Bingo!
• Transportation provided from Deerfield Hills to Meadows Park Community Center.

April 30, 2025-Cooking Matters

• 6:00-8:00 p.m.
• Family friendly cooking class. All children must be accompanied by an adult. All supplies provided.
