About

The Deerfield Hills Community Center continues its tradition of offering a positive and safe environment for children of all ages. The wide array of program opportunities and community services, along with a dynamic center staff, make this a well-utilized neighborhood resource. Deerfield Hills offers a variety of summer activities. Check out the Sprayground to stay cool during the summer months.

Events

Tuesdays & Thursdays - Active Adults

  • 9-10 a.m.
  • Open to all adults/seniors
  • Various exercise and movement activities each week, followed by a walk (weather permitting)

Saturdays (June-August) - Zumba in the Park

  • 9:30-10:30 a.m.
  • Free and open to everyone.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult, waiver required.

July 15, 2025-Community Playgroup

  • 10-11 a.m.
  • Open to all children 0-5 years old with a caregiver. Activities and light snacks provide

July 16, 2025-Artsy Adults

  • 10-12 p.m.
  • Open to all adults/seniors.  Various arts and craft activities, all supplies provided.  All skill levels welcome.

July 18, 2025-Mobile Food Pantry

  • 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • Free and open to everyone.  Appointment required, call the center for more details.

July 18,2025-Popcycle Ride

  • 6:00 p.m.
  • Kids on Bikes will host a round-trip family bike ride from the community center. Popsicle stop at a nearby park. Bikes and helmets available for use.   

July 24, 2025-Dancing Your Stories

  • 10-11 a.m.
  • Free and open to all adults, no dance experience required.

August 6, 2025-Artsy Adults

  • 10:00-12:00 pm
  • Open to all adults/seniors.  Various arts and craft activities, all supplies provided.  All skill levels welcome

August 20, 2025-Artsy Adults

  • 10:00-12:00 p.m.
  • Open to all adults/seniors.  Various arts and craft activities, all supplies provided.  All skill levels welcome

August 22, 2025-Mobile Food Pantry
