The City of Colorado Springs invites you to a public meeting to learn about the upcoming Powers Boulevard Noise Study and how it may affect the area. More information is listed below and in the attached flyer.

  • Time: 5:30–7:00 p.m.
  • Location: Discovery Canyon High School, 1810 North Gate Blvd

What You’ll Learn:

  • What’s being studied and why
  • Where noise data will be collected
  • What to expect (equipment and field crews)
  • How noise analysis works and how decisions are made
  • How the study connects to the Powers Boulevard bridge and roadway improvement projects

This study is the first step in understanding traffic noise conditions related to current project. No updated findings are available yet, and no decisions have been made at this time.

Crews will be on site after the meeting to begin placing temporary sound-monitoring equipment along the corridor.
