Hazmat 14 is housed and responds out of Station 14, located near Dublin and Academy. In 2009, Hazmat 14 lost its full-time staffing due to city budget cuts. The firefighters at Station 14 would still respond on this unit, but they would take the staffing from Engine 14 to respond, thus taking the engine out of service.
CSFD is excited to place this unit back into service full-time to protect the citizens of Colorado Springs.
