Aisha Ahmad-Post serves as director of the new UCCS Ent Center for the Arts, which opened in January 2018. Selected for the role in August 2017 following a national search, Aisha has a history of working with some of the biggest cultural organizations in the country, including the New York Public Library, Aspen Music Festival and Columbia Artists Management.

She has already proven to be a capable leader at UCCS and has had early success in connecting the community with the new Center. She has also built an impressive advisory board, and the Center’s first season was a clear success due in no small part to her leadership. More than 125 events were produced in its debut season, welcoming more than 110,000 people in just 18 weeks. Aisha’s presenting series alone drew nearly 7,000 patrons in its first three months with an average sell-out rate of 60 percent, significantly higher than average.

In addition to her work at UCCS, Aisha is passionate about conservation and the outdoors. Even though she’s relatively new to Colorado Springs, she is already playing an active role with Friends of the Incline and supports Hike for Life.
