About the Mayor's Cup

The Mayor's Cup was initiated in 2012 under Mayor Steve Bach. The tournament raises money each year for local scholarships, First Tee of Pikes Peak and the Spirit of the Springs Initiative. To date, the tournament has raised and donated $600,000 for local scholarships, First Tee of Pikes Peak and the Spirit of the Springs Initiative.

Past tournaments have benefited:

  • First Tee of Pikes Peak, a local nonprofit that provides golf lessons to underprivileged kids and teens
  • Pikes Peak Community College to provide scholarships to minority students who wish to pursue careers in public safety.  Over 22 students have received scholarships funded through this event.
  • The Spirit of the Springs initiatives to celebrate and connect our community.
