The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum (CSPM) will host its annual Festival of Lights Family Fun Day on Saturday, December 7 from 2-6 p.m. Before heading to the downtown parade, families are invited to enjoy musical performances, creative crafts, face painting and a host of family-friendly activities.
Activities and performances include:
- 50% of the Story Artist Demonstration by Vashti Mims
- Awesome Archaeology with City of Colorado Springs Archaeologist Mark Cervantes
- History of Printing Trade and Typesetting Activity by the Union Printers Home
- Bear Creek Nature Center Puppet Show
- Professor Higgins’ Magic Show
- Snow Sisters’ Holiday Celebration Performance and Meet & Greet
- And much more!
As the evening approaches, warm up with delicious hot chocolate and cookies, served right outside the museum’s entrance starting at 6:00 p.m.
To prepare for the festivities, the CSPM will close to general visitation at 1:00 p.m. and reopen at 2:00 p.m. for the event.
