All City of Colorado Springs Administrative Offices, including the Colorado Springs Municipal Court, will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8 due to forecasted weather conditions. Mountain Metro has delayed bus service and Metro Mobility ADA Paratransit service until 10 a.m. If weather conditions continue to worsen, bus service may be canceled for the day.
Several City parks are closed to vehicle traffic, including Garden of the Gods, North Cheyenne Cañon and Palmer Park. Trails are open, but please avoid hiking on the roads.
Emergency responders and essential City personnel will work normal schedules.
The Public Works Operations & Maintenance Division is continuing to clear primary and secondary routes as the snow continues to fall. Drivers should plan extra time to safely reach their destination and use caution around working snowplows, allow plenty of room to pass, and maintain a safe distance as crews have limited visibility.
