City Snow Crews continue full call-out to address primary and secondary roadways

Due to the current winter weather conditions, all City of Colorado Springs non-essential personnel are on a delayed start for the morning of Thursday, Dec. 14. Non-essential personnel must report to work by 10 a.m. All emergency responders and essential personnel are required to report to work on time. Mountain Metro busses are operating on a normal schedule, however, riders should be prepared for possible delays due to weather.

City snow crews are continuing a full call-out for snow removal operations citywide and are working to finish clearing primary and secondary roadways. Road conditions are slushy and deicing material is working at current temperatures. Drivers are asked to use caution around working snow plows, allow plenty of room to pass and maintain a safe distance as crews have limited visibility.
