On February 12, 2024, at approximately 7:57 AM, the Colorado Springs Police Department, was dispatched to the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Vincent Drive regarding a single-vehicle rollover crash. Upon arrival, witnesses had removed the single occupant of the vehicle and were performing CPR.
Members of the Colorado Springs Fire Department and AMR arrived on the scene and continued life-saving efforts, however, the driver of the vehicle succumbed to their injuries while on the scene. Due to the nature of the crash, the Major Crash Team was contacted and responded to the scene to assume the investigation.
On February 13, 2024, the El Paso County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy on the deceased driver and identified him as 83-year-old Stanley Grant.
At this time, neither alcohol nor speed appear to be factors in this crash.
This is the 9th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs this year. At this time last year, there were 7 traffic fatalities. In the last 365 days, there have been 53 traffic fatalities in Colorado Springs.
