A section of Foothills Trail, between Blair Bridge and the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center underpass, will remain closed through Friday, Sept. 13 to complete utility work that is part of a flood mitigation project underway in the northeastern portion of Garden of the Gods Park.
It's a win, win, win. This new stormwater channel is more natural-looking, cheaper to install, and easier to maintain. It works so well that we are looking to upgrade other concrete channels the same way.
