All City of Colorado Springs Administrative Offices, including the Colorado Springs Municipal Court, are closing at noon on Thursday, Nov. 7 due to weather conditions. Mountain Metro Transit bus service stopped operations Thursday at 10:30 a.m. also due to weather.
Emergency responders and essential City personnel will continue to work normal schedules.
The Public Works Operations & Maintenance Division is continuing to clear primary and secondary routes as the snow continues to fall. The City advises the public to stay at home, if possible. Drivers should plan extra time to safely reach their destination and use caution around working snowplows, allow plenty of room to pass, and maintain a safe distance as crews have limited visibility.
