District 5 Councilmember Nancy Henjum invites the residents of City Council District 5 to attend a Community Meeting to get information and engage with City Officials regarding the Cragmor and Papeton Neighborhoods. Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services Department will provide an update on the neighborhood parks. Neighbors can also learn about the ‘Friends of the Parks’ process and have a conversation about housing and homeless related challenges with the Colorado Springs Fire Department HOP (Homeless Outreach Program) Team. This Community Meeting will be on Thursday, January 8th from 5:30p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Edison Elementary School.
Edison Elementary School is located near Union Blvd. and E. Fillmore St. on North Hancock Ave. Councilmember Henjum will be joined by representatives of the Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services Department.
