The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is excited to announce its 7th Annual Valentine's Day Contest! For the last few months, Officer Barry Custard has made his home at CSPD. We love having him here, but it’s time for him to find his forever home!

We are asking for the most creative homemade Valentine's Day Card. CSPD Chief Adrian Vasquez will choose his favorite and the winning Valentine’s creator will get this snuggly bear to take home. At the end of the contest, all submitted Valentine's Day Cards will be handed out to CSPD officers around the city.

Who can participate

The contest is open to any child 3-10 years of age in the Colorado Springs Community.

How to submit a Valentine’s Day Card

Please address your homemade cards to “The Community Relations Unit” and drop them off or mail them to the Police Operations Center, located at 705 South Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903. Be sure to include the child's name and age, along with a parent or guardian’s name and phone number. The contest will run from January 13, 2025, to February 7, 2025.
