- Through the Athletes Welcome program, we will promote discounts and offers to training and competing athletes and coaches, visiting athletes and local resident Olympic and Paralympic Alumni, encouraging them to visit your place of business
- In return for your support, we will communicate to athletes that use of this discount card is a show of support for their training, and we will encourage them to tweet, pose for photos, etc. This is optional for the athlete.
- Your business will receive an ATHLETES WELCOME Colorado Springs decal for your front window, showing our community that you support our athletes.

How many people will you promote the Athletes Welcome app to?
The goal is to promote the app to 15,000 people.
Who will receive them?
We expect the breakdown to be:
- 2,000 athletes, alumni, and coaches attached to the Olympic & Paralympic movements
- 13,000 amateur, youth and professional athletes competing in Colorado Springs this year
How many businesses will participate?
We want to include up to 45 different establishments this year, including a mix of businesses in retail, restaurant, and the tourism attraction industries
How will cards be distributed?
Our partners at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center and our event-organizing partners
** Can I promote my business’s involvement? **
Yes, you can promote your business as part of this City program. Please note, you MAY NOT use Olympic or Paralympic terminology or marks in this promotion, as those are tightly restricted and trademarked.
Can I quit the program or change my offer?
Yes. We will ask for re‑registration every year.
