CSPD Valentine's Day Card Contest

 

The 2026 Colorado Springs Police Department Valentine’s Day Card Contest is officially open, and we can’t wait to see the creativity and love from our community’s youngest artists.

Who Can Enter

Children ages 3–10 are invited to create a handmade Valentine’s Day card with a police-themed twist. Cards can be mailed or dropped off for Chief Vasquez to select his favorites.

Prizes

  • One Grand Prize Winner
  • Two Runner-Up Winners

Judging Criteria

Cards will be judged on:

  • Overall creativity
  • Police theme
  • Valentine’s Day theme

Important Dates

  • Contest Begins: January 22, 2026
  • Submissions Due: February 10, 2026
  • Winners Announced: February 12, 2026

Winners will be announced on our Facebook and Instagram pages. 

 

How to Submit

Please attach a separate piece of paper or sticky note to the card with:

  • Child’s name
  • Child’s age
  • Parent or guardian name
  • Parent or guardian contact information

Submissions received without contact information will be forfeited.

Where to Send or Drop Off Cards

Mail or deliver cards to:

Community Relations Unit
705 S. Nevada Ave.
Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Cards may also be dropped off at any CSPD substation, addressed to the Community Relations Unit.

Important Reminder: All cards must be received by February 10, 2026, to be eligible. Cards arriving by mail after that date will not qualify.
