Mayor Yemi endorses Senate Bill 24-106 to increase homeownership opportunities

After engaging thousands of residents in a citywide listening tour, access to housing remains one of the most critical and pressing issues facing Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region, and finding solutions that bring more housing options within reach for all our city’s residents is one of Mayor Yemi's priorities. 2024 Migrant Response Framework

The Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management (PPROEM) continues to lead the City’s response, as it has since Mayor Yemi took office in June 2023. This includes gathering and verifying intelligence, planning for future contingencies and scenarios, and putting mechanisms into place if a timely response is required. Residents can view the 2024 Migrant Response Framework and the presentation given to City Council.

2024 Strategic Doing Framework

The City of Colorado Springs, under Mayor Yemi’s leadership, has developed a 2024 Strategic Doing Framework. This framework was informed by community input, and will help inform the City’s long-term strategic plan, which is actively being developed and will be published in the summer of 2024.
