About Councilmember Gold

Kimberly is committed to strengthening her leadership skills and is doing so as a participant in the 2026 Adelante Leadership Institute cohort, hosted by the Colorado Springs Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Her top priorities while on Council are securing approval of the Southeast Strong Community Plan, increasing engagement, building connections across Southeast neighborhoods, and supporting economic development within the Southeast through Peak Innovation Park.

On a broader city level, Kimberly is passionately working on solutions to end homelessness and increase housing affordability. Her former lived experience with hidden homelessness and unattainable homeownership makes her an unrelenting advocate for these pressing and current issues.

Outside of City Hall, Kimberly enjoys riding her e-bike throughout the Pikes Peak region, discovering new ways to experience the community she serves. And like many public servants, she’s  working toward the ambitious goal of getting to know as many of her Southeast neighbors as possible.
