The three CSPD Officers involved in the shooting on August 6, 2020, in the 4200 block of Mark Dabling Boulevard are Corporal Nathan Hefty, Officer Christopher Helland, and Officer Janel Langdon-Isaac.
· Corporal Hefty has been employed with the Colorado Springs Police Department since August 12, 2013, and is currently assigned to the Falcon Division, Shift III.
· Officer Helland has been employed with the Colorado Springs Police Department since March 12, 2018, and is currently assigned to the Falcon Division, Shift III.
· Officer Langdon-Isaac has been employed with the Colorado Springs Police Department since November 26, 2018, and is currently assigned to the Falcon Division, Shift III.
Per CSPD policy, officers involved in a deadly force incident are placed on administrative leave for approximately six working days before returning to full duty.
