The 2019 Mayor’s Young Leader Awards ceremony has been rescheduled to take place on Dec. 9 from 4-6 p.m. at the Ent Center for the Arts. Previously scheduled to take place Oct. 29, the event was rescheduled due to winter weather conditions.

Mayor John Suthers presented a balanced 2020 City Budget to Colorado Springs City Council. The 2020 General Fund budget is $331.1 million, which is $23 million or 7.5% more than the 2019 budget.

The Mayor's Office announced its finalists for the sixth annual Mayor’s Young Leader Awards. Launched in 2015 to celebrate the outstanding achievements of young professionals age 40 and under, a record number of nominations were received during the nomination period.
