Crews have started restoring a historic pavilion in Monument Valley Park. Rehabilitation efforts on the nearly 100-year-old structure include repairing the roof, removing and replacing the pavilion ceiling and rotten wood fascia around the pavilion, and repainting the entire structure.

Beginning Thursday, May 27 through late August, the intersection of Constitution Avenue and Paseo Road will close to all traffic to facilitate bridge maintenance work and improvements to a section of the Rock Island Trail. Detours will be in place and travelers are encouraged to avoid the area.
