Lodgers and Automobile Rental Tax (LART) Citizens Advisory Committee

In accord with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), the City of Colorado Springs will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities. Should you require an auxiliary aid and/or service to participate in an upcoming meeting, please contact us as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled monthly meeting so that we can do our best to accommodate your needs.

Funding Applications and Reports

The City of Colorado Springs has seen a drastic decline in tourism due to the COVID-19 outbreak. As a result, we anticipate as much as a 60 percent reduction in Lodgers and Automobile Rental Tax (LART) revenue for 2020. Due to these reductions, the LART Citizens Advisory Committee will not be accepting funding applications this spring for 2021 events.  However, if LART revenue exceeds our expectations and funds become available, applications will be posted in early 2021.  The Committee wanted to give as much notice as possible so that funding can be secured from other sources.  We look forward to working with you in the future.
