Mayor Yemi Mobolade provided a progress report Wednesday on his First 100 Days Blueprint. Mayor Yemi has made establishing the right government culture, improving community outreach, and expanding opportunities for public input his top priorities for the first 100 days, while also working to solve our city’s challenges around public safety, infrastructure, and economic vitality. This annual calendar shows off the natural beauty of Colorado Springs parks, trails and open spaces. All submissions must be received by 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7.

Westside Community Center thriving after a year under City operations
June marked the one-year anniversary of the facility being operated by the City. The community center has thrived this year by operating as a public-private partnership, integrating feedback from residents’ recommendations through the participation process in 2022. The City is accepting proposals from local businesses, organizations, community partners and service providers interested in leasing space in the Westside Community Center (WCC).
Southwest Airlines Begins Nonstop Service to Long Beach at Colorado Springs Airport
The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) welcomed daily nonstop service from Southwest Airlines to Long Beach (LGB) today. With this new service, the Colorado Springs community will have easy access to the Los Angeles Basin and allow visitors from California to experience all Colorado Springs has to offer.
