Update! As of Feb. 6, El Paso County is in Level Yellow on the state’s dial framework. The following list shows operational changes made at our facilities and to our programming in this less restrictive level. For the current status of facilities, programs and services not found in the below list, please visit the respective web pages for more information on COVID response.
Parks, trails, open spaces, outdoor playgrounds and sport courts remain open for use. Interaction in these areas should be limited to those within your household and 6 feet of physical distancing should be maintained between groups.
The City will continue to provide essential government services while also implementing select modified operations to comply with orders and public health recommendations related to COVID-19. Get the latest on temporary changes and closures.
The City Nature Challenge is a friendly competition between cities around the globe to encourage resident scientists to help study and monitor urban biodiversity. We invite YOU to explore our community's biodiversity by finding and identifying animals, plants, and all living things in our city and surrounding areas.
